Tara’s practice focuses on personal injury, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, insurance bad faith, and wrongful death cases. She understands that unexpected accidents and injuries are difficult, disruptive, and often turn lives upside down. Tara is aggressive in protecting the rights of her clients and is dedicated to sharing their stories. She has a keen eye for detail and cares about the difficult situations her clients face and how those situations impact their daily lives. Her clients consistently regard her as a compassionate, patient, and professional advocate with superb skills and attention to detail. Tara is passionate about providing personalized services and seeking justice for each of her clients. 

A Colorado native, Tara began working in the legal field in 2002 when she accepted a job as a legal assistant. She continued to work within the field of law as she  completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and an International Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. Tara earned her law degree at the University of San Diego School of Law before returning to Colorado to practice.   

Volunteering and working with the community has always been close to Tara’s heart. She works with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado as a former wish granter and is the current Co-Chair of the Annual Make-A-Wish Holiday Wish Store at Children’s Hospital. An avid reader, Tara is passionate about the importance of reading and education. She is currently working to build and establish several Little Free Libraries in Denver, Loveland, and Fort Collins 

Tara’s prior volunteer efforts include Metro Volunteer Lawyers and the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, where she advocated for children as a Guardian Ad-Litem through the center’s domestic violence program. As a member of the Junior League of Denver, Tara was part of the Read-to-Kids program, providing free books and learning opportunities to thousands of families in the Denver Metro Area. During her master’s studies at the University of Denver, Tara was the president of GIVE (Graduates Involved in Volunteer Efforts). In 2008, Tara traveled to Tanzania, where she worked with a nonprofit called Peace House, a school for orphaned and underprivileged children.
